The Fidelio Trio, consisting of Darragh Morgan on violin, Timothy Gill on cello, and Mary Dullea on piano, will be performing a concert at Wigmore Hall on Wednesday, 22 March 2023 at 1:00pm. The concert will celebrate Irish chamber music in honor of St. Patrick's Day.

The Trio will be bringing the music of Ernest John Moran to Wigmore Hall, a composer whose work has been neglected. Moran once lived on Valentia Island in County Kerry, where the Trio holds its annual summer festival. The Trio's recording of Moeran's chamber music was nominated for a Gramophone Award and received critical acclaim as the Best of 2022 Critics Choice, particularly noted for the Trio's "superbly articulate and memorably affectionate advocacy lent to the disarming Piano Trio."

In addition to Moran's music, the Trio will also perform Joan Trimble's Phantasy Trio, a piece with rich rhapsodic themes, and Frank Martin's 1925 Piano Trio on popular Irish melodies, a piece inspired by Irish folk tunes.
