Virtual Voices was founded by Ennis Musical Society's Musical Director Shane Farrell. Initiated as as a small project to pass a few weeks during the first lockdown, Farrell created a virtual choir through social media, involving practise sessions through zoom and Facebook Live. The initiative now has some 1800 members. A limited number of the choir members will perform the ensemble's first live event on November 27th at Ballinasloe Town Hall, for a magical night of choral singing featuring songs from the musicals, pop, classical and golden oldies.
