Video and Media Assistant for the Irish Association of Youth Orchestras (CE Scheme)
Cork Arts Support Team (C.A.S.T.) are recruiting a Video and Media Assistant for the Irish Association of Youth Orchestras.
Please note that this position is a Community Employment Scheme Placement. CE Schemes are designed to help people who are long-term unemployed to get back to work by offering part-time and temporary placements in jobs based within local communities.

This position is an opportunity for someone to develop their video and media skills in an organisation with a high output in audio, video, print and online media. Training opportunities will be provided. This role entails 19.5 hours per week.
Duties include filming at IAYO concerts and events, basic video and audio editing, the possibility of more advanced filming and editing (including the creation of promotional videos including interviews, etc.), and other digital media duties.
We are looking for someone that already has some skills in media and wants to develop those skills and build a portfolio. A knowledge of orchestras or classical music is desirable.
