The debut performance from Dublin's first Javanese gamelan orchestra. The concert includes traditional Javanese works alongside new arrangements of traditional pieces and original compositions by members of the orchestra. The audience will have the opportunity to play the instruments for themselves and learn a basic piece of traditional Javanese music. This is an informal showcase event with refreshments served throughout the performance.
