Trusts & Foundations Manager (maternity cover – 12-month contract)
The London Symphony Orchestra is seeking a dedicated and self-driven individual for the role of Trusts and Foundations Manager. Working in collaboration with the Senior Trusts & Foundations Manager and Grants & Proposals Coordinator, the Trusts and Foundations Manager will hold a key position within the LSO’s Development Department. Their primary responsibility will be to develop and execute the trusts and foundations strategy, with the aim of maximising income from grant-giving organisations. The LSO currently generates approximately £650,000 annually from trusts and foundations and anticipates further growth in this sector in the coming years.
As part of an experienced Development team, the Trusts and Foundations Manager will work closely with senior LSO staff, the Development Board, and Advisory Council to cultivate and maintain relationships with both new and existing funders. The role will involve fundraising for a diverse array of initiatives, including education and community activities, new music commissions, audience development, infrastructure, and capital projects at LSO St Luke’s.
