Trio Kanon
Formed a decade ago in Italy, Trio Kanon have won numerous awards and have played all over Europe. In a rare London appearance, they perform three popular trios: Beethoven’s E flat trio, companion to the Ghost, Shostakovich’s C minor trio (composed when he was just 16 years old), and Dvořák’s epic third trio, composed in 1883 and possessing a truly Brahmsian flavour.
“They have achieved the most difficult aspect of chamber music, which is the fusion of three different personalities into a unique claim"
