Big Noise Wester Hailes operates an after-school programme four days a week during term time, as well as a holiday school four days a week during the Easter, summer, and October holidays. The primary responsibilities of a Support Worker at Big Noise Wester Hailes include assisting Big Noise musicians in delivering the after-school programme, taking part in sessions, demonstrating engagement and attentiveness to the children, and fostering strong relationships with children and families to help them realise their potential.

The position offers a permanent, part-time contract, requiring 10 hours of work per week after the school day during term time and 12 hours per week during the day in school holidays (Tuesday to Friday). The annual salary ranges from £22,550 to £24,148 pro-rata (£12.39 per hour), with all new staff commencing at the first point of the scale.
