St. Patrick’s Day & Night @ St Patrick's Festival 2023
St. Patrick’s Festival Quarter will be a hub of free events, music, dance, and happenings for people of all ages from 12 pm on Friday 17 March to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. The Céilí Mór event will feature Dearbhla Lennon & her Traditional Irish Dancers with The Shandrum Céili Band, Féile na Gealaí, Japanese Taiko Drummers, Music Generation Laois Trad Orchestra, Imlé, Llareggub Brass Band from Wales, and more. The festival will have a full family programme with Tumble Circus, Candlelit Tales, the Fingal Mummers, Curious State, Professor Plunger, Guido Fanzini, Mark the Science Guy, the Actual Reality Arcade, Disney Cinema Yurt, and a mini funfair.
The St Patrick’s Festival Quarter Food and Drinks Village will offer Irish street food for those who need a break from the parade watching. In the evening, traditional Irish music artists such as Kíla + Brass Band, The Bonny Men, Jiggy, Saltaire, Pólca 4, Paahto & the Bull, Cairde Ceoil, Junior Brother (a Choice Music Prize nominee), and The Latchikos will perform at the National Museum of Ireland Collins Barracks. The Trad Rave DJ on the Clarke Square Bandstand will get everyone dancing.
