Join me on July 22, my 48th birthday, to relive the best moments from my live-streamed concert series, A Rufus Retro Wainwright Spective. In October 2020 during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, my team and I decided to embark on a virtual tour through all 9 of my studio albums (we ended up doing 11 including my “Rarities” album and the Judy Garland show at Capitol Studios). I had an amazing time revisiting my musical catalog, relearning challenging songs I had written and playing stripped down arrangements with only piano (Jacob Mann) and guitar (Brian Green). During this 2-hour long special, I’ll be taking a trip down memory lane by reacting to some of my favorite songs and memories I shared with my special micro-audience members like Jamie Lee Curtis, James Corden, and Darren Criss.
