Roamer is a collaborative music project featuring four of Ireland’s most internationally renowned improvising musicians: Lauren Kinsella on vocals, Matthew Halpin on saxophone, Simon Jermyn on guitar, and Matthew Jacobson on drums. Despite being based in different cities such as London, Cologne, Berlin, and Dublin, the four musicians frequently come together to create and perform original music that celebrates poetry and improvisation.

Their latest release, ‘Lost Bees’ (Diatribe), which came out in 2022, features original compositions from all band members, inspired by the poetry of Irish literary artist Cherry Smyth, who is based in London. Swedish bassist, composer and producer Petter Eldh also contributed post-production work to the track ‘Haiku’.

Roamer is set to perform live, and it is a rare opportunity for fans to witness this highly collaborative project on stage.
