Ireland's Summer Opera Festival will be alive with opera, concerts, recitals and free events from 29 May - 05 June 2023.

This year Blackwater Valley Opera Festival celebrates the return of the distinguished Franco-Swiss cellist Nadège Rochat to Dromore Yard, following her sold out performance at the festival in 2018. An exciting energy on the music scene, Nadège Rochat involves herself in projects that have brought her to stages worldwide.

Rochat is joined by pianist Judith Jáuregui, whose recent chamber music alliances include the violinist Soyoung Yoon, string quartets Signum Quartet and Gerhard Quartet, and wind quintet Azahar Ensemble.

Nadège will perform with Judith Jáuregi a programme for piano and cello by composers including Ina Boyle, Pablo Casals, Claude Debussy, Federico Mompou, Gaspar Cassado, Frederik Chopin, Federico Garcia Lorca, Ernest John Moeran, Louis Vierne, and Manuel de Falla.
