'Most Peculiar Dream' Live at The Civic 2022

Set in 1950’s New York, ‘Most Peculiar Dreams’ examines how chance encounters and small interventions, can influence a person’s fate. Written and composed by Fergus Foran, the show tells a heart-warming story reflecting on love, family, friendships and how we triumph over loss. The show has attracted the involvement of some of Ireland’s finest talent. Well- Known Irish composer Dr. Martin O’Leary of NUI Maynooth has been involved in the project from the outset as Musical Director. Songs from the show were workshopped in 2018 and 2019 by Katie and Niamh Conlan [KNC Performing Arts Company Ltd.], Avril O’Toole, Lucy McCrann, Katie Weir, Leah Barniville, Orla Boyle, Orla Sheridan, Nathan Patterson, Kevin Hartnett, Brian Gilligan, and Callum Martin.

After a successful song workshop process, involving further input from producer Adrian Gary, the production team were joined by Red Dream Film Productions and Ashlea Noonan [Set design and costume]. This collaboration resulted in a twenty-minute promotional video. The soundtrack for the show was recorded at Beechpark Studios in 2020 and is available on Spotify ad all streaming services. The show will tour Ireland March through September 2022, progressing to the UK, Europe and beyond in 2023 and 2024
