Live Performance Programme South Dublin County
South Dublin County Council invites applications, from professional performers, (ensembles or individuals), for funding to perform outdoors in the South Dublin County Council administrative area in August and September under the Local Live Performance Programming Scheme. The programme is funded by The Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media.
The aim of this Call Out is to facilitate professional performers/promoters/curators to present outdoor live performances in August and September 2021 (including Culture Night performances) should public health considerations permit. Performances can be recorded or streamed if health restrictions prevent live events.
All genres of performance (Music, Spectacle, Circus, Street Arts etc) are encouraged to apply. Small scale solo performances and unplugged presentations through to amplified concerts will be considered. Family or all-ages performance events are particularly welcome. The proposal may be for multiple or single events. All events will be either free of charge or have a nominal charge.
Applicants must select their own venue and dates, and produce their own event in association with the Local Live Performance South Dublin County. Please note that events should be scheduled into controlled public performance locations. An initial risk assessment should be submitted as feasibility of the proposal will be considered.
The total budget for this programme is €60,000, out of which a wide range of events and professional performers will be funded across the county.
DEADLINE: Tuesday 20th July 2021
