Light Moves Festival is excited to announce two Open Calls for our 7th festival taking place 9 – 11th November 2023: Open Call for Submissions: Films & Gallery works, and Call for Proposals: Open Format presentation platform.

1. Light Moves Open Call for Submissions: Films & Gallery works

Light Moves invites filmmakers, dance artists, choreographers and visual artists to submit screendance works for consideration for the forthcoming 2023 programme of dance, film and media art with movement as a central focus.

Early Bird Deadline: 13 March 2023
Deadline: 10 April 2023

2. Light Moves Call for Proposals: Open Format presentation platform

This open call invites proposals or provocations that go beyond the parameters of the festival’s screenings and exhibition presentation. Proposals may include discussion forums, exploratory workshop, performance-lecture, interviews, talks, reading groups, listening sessions, sitting or walking sessions, broadcasts, parties, podcasts, publications, research-orientated projects. These can be programmed in studio, on stage, online or outdoors.
