Applications are now open for the Irish Youth Wind Ensemble 2023.

The course will run in the University of Limerick, from Monday 31 July - Sunday, 6 August 2023.

Applications:

Applications are invited for Flute / Piccolo, Oboe / Cor Anglais, Bb, Eb and Bass Clarinet, Alto / Tenor / Bari Saxophone, Bassoon & Contra Bassoon, Trumpet, French Horn, Trombone, Baritone, Euphonium, Tuba, Percussion, Harp and Double Bass. Applicants must be aged between 16 and 25 during the course and have a minimum of Grade 6 standard.

Auditions:

Auditions will take place in Cork on Saturday, 25 March and in Dublin on Saturday, 01 and Sunday, 02 April 2023. Applicants may be offered a place in the ensemble without audition, based on previous participation, ongoing musical experience and the number of applicants for specific sections.
