The Arts Council is currently offering a full-time, permanent contract for a Head of Content at Higher Executive Officer Grade. The role is situated within the Strategic Development Department, which leads the organisation in the development, implementation, and evaluation of its corporate strategy, Making Great Art Work, and is accountable for change and programme management through the programme management office (PMO).

As a new position within the Arts Council, the Head of Content is part of an ongoing business transformation programme aimed at streamlining and simplifying funding application processes. The Arts Council now manages 9,000 funding applications per year from artists and arts organisations through their online services website, having experienced a tripling of applications and a near doubling of government funding during the Covid pandemic.

The primary objective of the Head of Content role is to establish a content strategy for the funding application process, backed by solid content governance, to support applicants in submitting high-quality applications to the Arts Council. The ideal candidate will possess innovative ideas and the ability to shape the role.

The deadline for applications is 12:00 noon on Wednesday, 12th of April 2023.
