Florian Boesch: A Celebration of Song

Tuesday, 13 December 2022, 6.45pm

The Austrian baritone Florian Boesch performs a special song recital in the beautiful and intimate Old Library in Dulwich College for SongEasel this December, in musical partnership with acclaimed pianist, Jocelyn Freeman.

Recipient of the prestigious Edison Klassiek Award in 2012, Florian’s programme places Lieder and Ballades by Carl Loewe alongside Robert Schumann’s Ballades and the Schubert Heine settings from “Der Schwanengesang“ in an evening that also includes the launch of our 2023 series, a pre-concert talk by the ever-enlightening Richard Stokes, and a reception for the Friends of SongEasel.

Refreshments will be available in the Rotunda.

Parking is provided on site.

A children's choir will give a short performance of seasonal music during the interval.
