Friday, 24 March 2023, 5.00pm

The Southbank Centre Event Management Team plans and manages events across all artforms and public programming activities.

The Event Manager’s role is challenging, as no two days are the same. The team works with some of the biggest names in the arts, from renowned resident orchestras to producing international events such as the London Literature Festival and Meltdown Festival, the longest-running curator-led festival globally.

The Event Management team comprises Senior Producers, Producers, artform specialist Event Managers, and multi-artform Event Managers, supported by Assistant Event Managers and Producing Assistants, who work alongside the wider Artistic Programming team.

Southbank Centre welcomes applications from people from a Black, Asian or Ethnically Diverse background, or those who are D/deaf or disabled. The centre strives to create a warm and welcoming place to work, with great aspirations and ambitions to create excellent and accessible work for all. It is committed to building a supportive environment to enable the development of staff.

Even if you feel you only have some of the required skills and experience but meet the person specification, Southbank Centre encourages you to apply. The centre is very open to continuing the training and development of individuals who are self-motivated to acquire new skills and knowledge relevant to the role.
