Go further with these unusual and playful instruments in a one-of-a-kind creative music-making workshop.

"In the visual arts, we give children colours to be creative but we don't do that for sound. That is why I wanted to create a "palette of sounds!"- Bernard Baschet

Parisian-born brothers Bernard and François Baschet wanted to make music and art accessible to everyone. Together they created a new way of combining sound and sculpture. They created a fascinating collection of unusual and accessible sonic sculptures which have been acclaimed worldwide.

While we have these unusual instruments here in Dublin, why not take the chance to participate in a one-of-a-kind music workshop to learn how to use them and make some interesting music with them?

The Baschet sound structures make a “sound palette” of around 100 different tones, so there are lots of sounds and music to be explored in these workshops. The instruments were created to inspire children to discover and love music through games and experimentation, and without any previous musical knowledge.
