The Arts Council intends to appoint 100 to 120 Creative Associates to collaborate with up to 400 schools throughout the Republic of Ireland as part of the Creative Schools initiative.

Creative Associates, possessing a profound understanding of creativity and its transformative impact on children and young people, play a crucial role in the success of the Creative Schools initiative. Each participating school will be assigned a Creative Associate, who will work closely with the school to develop and implement a Creative School Plan. The Creative Associates will cooperate with the school to devise and execute various arts and creative activities, engaging the entire school community.
