The 10th Edition of Counterflows offers a new way to explore artist’s work. Featuring new commissions of soundworks, films, podcasts, texts and more.

Plus assorted complementary interviews, texts and some offline surprises to be announced.

ANNEA LOCKWOOD (US, NZ) — newly commissioned sound piece for Ruth Anderson + film about Annea from director Sam Green

MAZEN KERBAJ (LB) — film following a day in the life of the Lebanese trumpeter/artist

QUINIE (Glasgow) — podcast The Living Tradition and accompanying set of new song material

THEFURIES (Glasgow) — In this Moment, I’m Living “music for the tranquility of the souls of survivors of sexual violence”

NAKUL KRISHNAMURTHY & NRITHYA PILLAI (IN) — a sound/movement piece exploring Indian dance form Bharathanatyam in relation to contemporary electronic music

EDWARD GEORGE (UK) — writer/commentator presents a podcast on Angolan music and culture

NAZAR (AO) — exclusive audio work from the Angolan producer of ‘rough Kuduro’
