Cork Philharmonic Winds with guest conductor Liam Daly

Saturday, 2 April 2022, 8.00pm

Cork Philharmonic Winds was founded by conductor Robert O’Brien in 2012 to give Cork-based wind, brass and percussion players the opportunity to perform original music of the highest quality written for wind ensembles and band. For this performance, Cork Philharmonic Winds welcomes guest conductor Liam Daly, alongside principal conductor Robert O'Brien, for a typically diverse programme featuring works and arrangements by Irish composers including Fergal Carroll, Declan Townsend, Vincent Kennedy, John C. Murphy and Robert O’Brien. Join us for a celebration of Irish wind band music!

Dance of Elves - Adam Scheck
Soundshock - Eibhlís Farrell
En Esta Noche Clara - Murrough Connolly
An Cnoc Rua - Paul Dunlea
Whatsa Heaven For? - Vincent Kennedy
