RTÉ’s internship offers an opportunity for individuals to begin their careers in the media and creative industries.

The Content Creatives Internship seeks applicants with a passion for content creation, curiosity about the world, and a desire to transform their passion into a career. Dedication, drive, and potential are crucial. While specific media experience is not required, candidates should have knowledge of and enthusiasm for various media types, such as social media, podcasting, TV, radio, YouTube, and TikTok. An interest in RTÉ is considered a plus.

The paid internship offers a pro-rata salary of €25,832. Successful applicants will undergo three weeks of bespoke training followed by a five-month internship in a specific area of RTÉ. Interns will be placed in various departments, including Radio 1, News and Current Affairs, TV Entertainment, Irish Language, Arts and Culture, Sport, Young People’s Programmes, and online.

Applicants should express their passion and preferences for specific areas, such as radio, TV, or TikTok, and the internship programme will strive to match them with the most suitable department.
