The MAC is seeking a Commercial Events Officer for a full-time permanent position, offering a salary between £24,000 and £26,000.

The Commercial Events Officer will manage venue hire bookings, actively sell the MAC as a venue for hire and our corporate catering offering, and work closely with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have at least three years’ experience in planning, preparing, and coordinating successful events, with a minimum of two years’ experience in a busy events or sales environment. They should also have experience in active selling and managing multiple incoming/outgoing customer enquiries on a daily basis.

Desirable criteria for the role include experience of actively pursuing sales opportunities, working in a multi-purpose venue, using venue and event management software such as Artifax, and using a CRM system.

The Commercial Events Officer will report directly to the Head of Marketing and work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment, demonstrating an outstanding level of customer care throughout the delivery of successful events.
