Bram Stoker Festival 2023: Open Call Applications
From 27th to 30th October 2023, the Bram Stoker Festival will offer a diverse programme of literary, cultural, contemporary, and family events aimed at engaging a wide audience in honour of Bram Stoker.
An open call for event and activity ideas is currently underway for potential inclusion in the Bram Stoker Festival 2023 programme. Proposed ideas should have a strong connection or thematic link to Bram Stoker, including aspects such as his works, life, philosophy, Victorian Dublin, Gothic themes, supernatural elements, or the mysterious.
As one of Dublin’s largest multi-disciplinary arts festivals, the Bram Stoker Festival attracts a diverse audience of all ages and backgrounds, eager to explore the unknown, supernatural, and Gothic. The festival’s timing generally coincides with Halloween, providing ample opportunities to present events rooted in terror, supernatural themes, and thrilling experiences.
The festival’s programme successfully combines family-friendly events with late-night activities, encompassing a wide range of formats such as interactive art installations, music gigs, comedy, theatre, spoken word, themed parties, food-focused experiences, literary events, outdoor adventures for children, families, and adults, film screenings, exhibitions, talks, and more.
